BLACKSTONE is a diversified dynamic sheet metal and structural fabricator, young and growing. BLACKSTONE is classified as a small business entity and operates as a non-union facility. BLACKSTONE was founded in April of 1994, predominately as a fabricating and welding business. In the fall of 1994, a significant multi-year contract was awarded from a Fortune 100 firm. BLACKSTONE purchased the assets and real property at 100 Blackstone Avenue in Jamestown and relocated from leased space in January 1995. Our customer base consists of small enterprises, Fortune 500 companies and government agencies with 40 active clients and having served 100+ customers over our 14-years of experience. Installed in the facility is an overhead crane that accesses over 100,000-sq. ft. of floor space. We also have approximately 42,500-sq. ft. of warehousing available on our second, third, and fourth floors. These areas are accessed by two stairways and a 5,000 lb. capacity freight elevator. The entire facility is protected by an electronic fire/security system, central stations monitoring, and fire sprinkler system. BLACKSTONE realizes the importance of highly qualified and trained employees. All personnel is hired based upon their education, experience, and training for positions required. All associates are provided with the necessary training to perform quality craftsmanship at the given stage of production. Each associate's training is documented as each level is accomplished. BLACKSTONE continues to grow in our 300,000 sq. ft. facility and currently employ over 150 people. With our high standards in Quality and Technology, we are able to provide our customers with a superior custom fabricated product.
